Welcome Bags for Foster Chidren

We are honored to be able to fund our Welcome Bags project again this year!
Welcome Bags Project are available to each child newly placed in foster care in Circuit 12. Each Welcome Bag is a new duffle bag containing pajamas, socks, underwear (or diapers for our little ones), a soft blanket, handmade pillow case, a book, personal care items and more!

Upon receiving a new Placement, please fill our the Welcome Bag Request below (one form per child) and a Member of our Board or one of our Volunteers will be in touch with you soon. Our Association operates out of Bradenton, Florida and due to limited volunteer support at this time, pick-up of the Welcome Bags from our Storage Units may be required.

Want to help?
We are able to launch this project due the generosity of many people in the Manatee County community who have supported our efforts financially and through in-kind contributions. In order to keep this project going, we need your help!

Collection Drives
Would you be interested in hosting a Collection Drive at your school, church or community organization? We have a number of different Collection Drives that we can coordinate to suit your interest- Diaper Drives, "Undies for Everyone" Drives, Pajama Drives and more! We will design the promotional material for you and bring you the collection boxes, just email us at info@manateecountyfapa.com and we will work with you!

Giving Your Time
The Manatee County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association is an all volunteer organization. While our Board President is overseeing this project, we could surely use some help getting the Welcome Bags delivered to Manatee County Foster & Group Homes. Email us to info@manateecountyfapa.com if you'd be interested in volunteering in this capacity.
